A Bit About Me

Tips How To Buy A Used Car

My name is Louise Baisingen. In my previous life before a husband, 3 kids and all these family duties, I sold advertising for local papers in South East Queensland. I live in Brisbane with my family.

In 2006 I bought a lemon.

It was a 1999 Subaru Forester.

Unbeknownst to me at the time of purchase, I later discovered it had been in a bad accident and repaired.

Minor repairs are not anything to worry about if done by a quality smash repairer.

A quality repair job should hardly be noticeable and won’t affect resale.

But in my case, the accident must have been a doozy AND the repair job was not good.

It had been fixed up for quick sale and was not quite right.

The body was not fixed completely straight.

Which meant it had a few annoying rattles.

And because the body was not completely straight, the wheels weren’t straight either.

Even after having the wheels aligned the tyres suffered uneven wear.

This cost me a small fortune in new tyres over the years.

I recently entered the market for a Used Car again for the first time since 2006.

But this time I did all my homework.

And penned all of my research into this book.

It is my hope it saves you thousands of dollars.

Don’t Buy A Lemon,
